The God of the Consensus Process.

by
Dean Gotcher

"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." 1 John 2:16

The God of the consensus process (the soviet system) is the God of man's own making, i.e., is God made in the image of man (man 'creating' God in his image). The dialoguing of opinions to a consensus is the praxis of Genesis 3:1-6, i.e., of "self" 'justification,' 'justifying' the child's' carnal nature, i.e., i.e., the child's "feelings" and "perception" of the moment (in the light of the current situation), i.e., the child's love of the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' (dopamine emancipation) which the world stimulates and his or her hate of restraint, i.e., hate of the restrainer, negating Hebrews 12:5-11, i.e., the father's/Father's authority, negating Romans 7:14-25 , i.e., the guilty conscience for doing wrong, disobeying, sinning in the process, so all can do wrong, disobey, sin with impunity—resulting in everyone having to serve, protect, and worship the God of the "new" world order, i.e., the "group psychotherapist," i.e., the facilitators of 'change,' i.e., the 'liberator' of man from (the washer of the child's brain of) the father's/Father's authority. It is what the "group grade" classroom is all about today (requiring the use of "Bloom's Taxonomies").

"He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." 1 John 2:22 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4 "The time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service." John 16:2

The seedbed of the antichrist, i.e., the God of the "new" world order, i.e., the seducer, deceiver, and manipulator of men, women, and children is in your heart, i.e., is in your desire for (your "lusting" after) the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' which the world stimulates. Without your desire for (your "lusting" after) the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' which the world stimulates, your resentment toward restraint, i.e., your dissatisfaction with the father's/Father's authority could not exist. Without your dissatisfaction with (resentment toward) the father's/Father's authority, the antichrist (another Christ, 'liberating' man from the Father's authority) could not rise up and rule, i.e., be worshiped as God by men. "The heart is deceitful above all things [thinking pleasure is the standard for "good" instead of doing the father's/Father's will], and desperately wicked [hating whoever prevents, i.e., inhibits or blocks it from enjoying the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' it desires, which the world stimulates]: who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9

"Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment." Ecclesiastes 11:9 "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken." Jeremiah 6:16, 17

The key to understand the world we live in—in the classroom, in the neighborhood, in the workplace, in government, in the media, in entertainment, in the home, and even in the "church"—and its final end is to see it from the perspective of a father attempting to restrain a child for his own good (that the child might receive an inheritance from the father in the future which the child can not see—since "good" for the child is enjoying what is pleasing to him now), with the child, in defiance to the father's authority, striking out at the father, attempting to take (claim as his own) or destroy that which is from the father in order (as in "new" world order) to have his way, with the father having to reject the child (who he loves) because of the child's hateful ways.

"And for this cause [because men, as "children of disobedience," 'justify' themselves, i.e., their love of "self" and the world, i.e., their love of the pleasures of the 'moment' which the world stimulates over and therefore against the Father and His authority] God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie [that pleasure is the standard for "good" instead of doing the Father's will]: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth [in the Father and in His Son, Jesus Christ], but had pleasure in unrighteousness [in their "self" and the pleasures of the 'moment' which the world stimulates]." 2 Thessalonians 2:11, 12

Why will men, women, and children worship the Anti-Christ (another Christ)? Because he is made in their image (in the image of the child, i.e., the child of disobedience), 'justifying' (affirming) their carnal nature, i.e., the nature of the child of disobedience, hateful of the father's/Father's authority. "And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God." Luke 16:15 The consensus process is man worshiping at the alter of "self," negating all who disrupt his worshiping of pleasure, i.e., his worshiping of "self," the world, and the facilitator of 'change'—who is his "savior," saving him from the father's/Father's authority. The Consensus process is antithetical to the gospel, rejecting the Father's authority—why Jesus Christ came, that we might know and have fellowship with his Heavenly Father.

"[A]nd truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." 1 John 1:3

"For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." Matthew 12:50

"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." Matthew 23:9

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." 2 Corinthians 6:14-18

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:24

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works." Matthew 16:24-27

"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 10:32, 33

"And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him." Luke 12:4, 5

Taking up your cross is you willing to endure the rejection of men, i.e., the consensus process, which is 'purposed' in exposing, grading, and converting or negating you—based upon your participating in or rejecting, exposing, and condemning the consensus process, warning those who will listen where it is taking them. You can not endure unless you first humbled, denied, died to your "self," 'purposed' in following after Christ, doing His Heavenly Father's will (no matter what "the group" might say about you or do to you). "Few individuals, as Asch has shown, can maintain their objectivity [their belief in parent, nation, or God] in the face of apparent group unanimity [acceptance, i.e., affirmation by the group]." (Irvin D. Yalom, Theory and Practice and Group Psychotherapy) "The individual accepts the new system of values and beliefs [tolerating and participating in deviancy ("self interest")] by accepting belongingness to the group." (Kurt Lewin, in Kenneth Benne, Human Relations in Curriculum Change)

Jesus Christ had a "group" but it was, as he, subject to doing His Heavenly Father's will in all things commanded. It is in our individual (personal) fellowshipping with the Father, and His Son Jesus Christ that fellowshipping in that "group" is real, otherwise our "fellowshipping" is apostate. "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." James 4:4

As the Apostle Paul wrote: "For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." Galatians 1:10 You persuade with facts and truth, you seduce, deceive and manipulate people with feelings. Consensus means to make agreement, i.e., become at-one-with, i.e., 'discover' common-ism based upon "feelings." "In the dialogic relation of recognizing oneself in the other, they experience the common ground of their existence." (Jürgen Habermas, Knowledge & Human Interest, Chapter Three: The Idea of the Theory of Knowledge as Social Theory)

As the world prepares to worship the Anti-Christ—man's savior made in his image, i.e., loving pleasure and hating restraint, i.e., hating the Father's authority—the Lord has called us to occupy, i.e., to endure rejection, to continue to preach the gospel and teach the truth until His return. "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb [what Christ has done], and by the word of their testimony [what Christ is doing in you]; and they loved not their lives unto the death [dying to your "self" daily, enduring the rejection of men, following after Christ, doing the Father's will, inheriting eternal life]." Revelation 12:11
